Program Description:

Wood Sci & Tech Dept offers programs in wood & wood products processing and design; business and craftsmanship/furniture that includes a 3-month internship at nearby facility. There is also a Dept. of Forest Management.

Industry Training Description:

This location is one of thirteen national Wood Utilization Research Centers, authorized and funded by Congress to stimulate innovation and the generation of new knowledge and technologies that are necessary to balance the sustainable use of U.S. forest resources with the need to maintain a vigorous, globally competitive domestic forest products industry.
