Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI)

A nonprofit trade association that represents nearly 4000 members consisting of architectural woodworkers, suppliers, design professionals and students from around the world. AWI offers the "Architectural Woodwork Standards," the definitive resource manual for the fabrication, finishing and installation of architectural woodwork. They also offer the AWI Quality Certification Program, a quality assurance tool endorsed by the American Subcontractors Association (ASA).
