American Trucks Student Scholarship Program

AmericanTrucks Student Scholarships 2 scholarships for $2,000 each are awarded twice a year (4 scholarships total) to students who are currently enrolled full-time in a secondary vocational school, technical institute, or are high school seniors who are enrolled in one of the aforementioned institutes. Two scholarships will be awarded for the fall semester and two scholarships will be awarded for the spring semester each year.

AWI Education Foundation Scholarships

The AWIEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that seeks to identify resources that provide opportunities for education and professional development in the architectural woodwork industry. By building individual and industry relations with accredited woodwork training programs, the AWIEF provides guidelines for candidates to qualify for financial scholarships.

C.E. Bernhauer, Jr. Scholarship

The program, sponsored by the Woodwork Institute (WI), is open to individuals interested in pursuing or furthering a career in the architectural millwork industry. A written recommendation from a previous academic instructor or employer should accompany the application. Application may be made by students entering or continuing enrollment in a university, state or private college, community college, or trade school, or from individuals already working in the industry.

CNC Machines Scholarship

We are excited to announce our yearly manufacturing scholarship program with the mission to award an exceptional student currently studying manufacturing, engineering or related fields. The student will be awarded the scholarship towards their education in certifications, certificates, associates, bachelors or masters. The total award of this scholarship is $2,500.

Houzz Scholarship

The Houzz Scholarship Program, launched in 2016, supports the next generation of students studying architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, construction management, or skilled trades. Applicants are required to complete a survey about your education, career goals and complete an essay question. You will also be required to include a link to your Houzz profile, with images from your portfolio where applicable.

IFDA Scholarships

Multiple scholarships offered by the International Furniture Design Association (IFDA) Education Foundation to full or part time students IFDA/EF scholarships require a major in interior design or a related design/furnishings program, unless otherwise noted. Scholarships are for undergraduate students attending U.S. institutions. Deadline March 31.

Indiana Hardwood Lumbermen’s Association (IHLA)

The objective is to provide monetary support to individuals interested in developing a career in the hardwood industry. The monetary support may be used by the recipient to attend any educational program ranging from a two or four year collegiate program, trade school, lumber grading school, saw filer school, dry kiln operators schooling, etc. It is the intent of this award to raise the abilities of the individual and in turn the industry and its members.

Krenov School Scholarships

The Krenov School (Fort Bragg, CA) offers several scholarships for its students, including: Jack Romine Scholarship - $5000 to an incoming first year student. David Welter Scholarship - $3000 to an incoming second year student. Smith-Sorenson Scholarships - (2) $2500 to incoming first and second year students. Burns-Budlong Scholarships - (2) $2500 to incoming first year or second year students. Peter Mich Scholarships for Women in Woodworking - (2) $3500 to incoming first year or second year students. Linh Bui Minority Scholarship in Woodworking - (2) $5000 to incoming first year students

Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation

Today’s generation of Marines have made unprecedented sacrifices. And while there are many ways to honor our Nation’s heroes, there is no organization closer to the intersection of real need and lasting impact than the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. Scholarship awards are $1,500, $2,500, $5,000, $7,500, or $10,000 per academic year.

mikeroweWORKS Foundation Scholarship Program

The mikeroweWORKS Foundation announced its partnership with Scholarship America to establish the mikeroweWORKS Foundation Education Scholarship Program. The program is set up to award individual scholarships to applicants who want to pursue a career in the skilled trades. All successful applicants meeting the eligibility requirements may be awarded up to $2,500.

National Housing Endowment Scholarship Fund

For students in industry-related fields such as construction management or technology, civil engineering, architecture, design or other trade specialty.

NWFA Wood Studies Scholarship

The National Wood Flooring Association Education & Research Foundation Wood Studies Scholarship is designed to promote the post-secondary study of forestry and related forestry sciences. This nonrenewable scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a current high school senior who will study forestry in an effort to advance and improve forestry practices for generations to come. Entry deadline is in February and all applicants will be notified in April.

Robert E. Dougherty Education Foundation

Brought to you by the Composite Panel Association (CPA), a scholarship for junior and senior undergraduates or post-graduate students in forest products, wood science/technology, chemistry or mechanical or industrial engineering.

Susan M. Regan Memorial Scholarship

Recognizing the need for skilled industry professionals, the Hardwood Manufacturers Association offers up to three annual Scholarships, to provide financial assistance to qualified students enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year institution forestry and/or wood products program. Entry deadline is in January.

The Furniture Society Educational Grants

The Society awards grants in support of individual development or programming initiatives at the local and regional levels.

TSA Scholarships

VCCF Career & Technical Education Scholarship
